It is not often that we are able to offer such an impressive Sumo collectible. This large display measures 18 1/4" x 25 1/4" and contains a total of 385 menko cards produced by Hoshi Gangu, manufacturers of several baseball sets, including the classic 1959 Oh rookie set. The following rikishi (sumo wrestlers) are included with the quantity for each noted in parentheses.

Ozeki (2nd level): Kashiwado* (5), Taiho* (14), Wakahaguro (10)

*While Kashiwado and Taiho were ranked as ozeki (2nd level) at the time of issue, they became yokozuna (grand champions) later on. In fact, Taiho is regarded by many as the greatest sumo wrestler in history.
